Marjan Yazdanpanah, M.Sc.A.
President & Chief Executive Officer
Marjan Yazdanpanah is Founder, President, and CEO of Groupe Vega
C.B.I. Ms. Yazdanpanah has incorporated more than years of work
and research experience in Biomedical Instrumentation and Clinical
Engineering Consulting to provide these services to the Health Care
Industry. As a bi-lingual technology executive her interests in
Technology Evaluation and Planning have allowed her exposure and
influence with the European and North American business environment.
Prior to founding Groupe Vega C.B.I., Ms. Yazdanpanah has served
as Director and Manager of Biomedical Engineering teams at Montreal
Children's Hospital.
Maurice H. Lacerte, CHE,
Vice-President Business Development
Maurice H. Lacerte is an accomplished consultant, chief executive,
director, and vice-president with three decades of experience in
the health care industry. Serving as Vice-President Business Development
for Groupe Vega C.B.I. since 2001, Mr. Lacerte provides leadership
and vision in developing service offerings tailored to our client's
needs and expanding our impact on both the health care and private
sector industries. As well, Mr. Lacerte provides expertise in organizational
and managerial skills and planning, political sensitivities, and
change management and facilitation.
Prior to joining Groupe Vega C.B.I., Mr. Lacerte served as Executive
Director, Chief Executive, Corporate Facilitator, and Regional Operations
Manager at several public and private sector health care and service
management organizations.
Mr. Lacerte, a certified member of the Canadian College of Health
Service Executives, served as Chairman of the Southwestern Ontario
Chapter.
Timothy J. Zakutney, M.H.Sc.,
P.Ing.
Chief Technology Officer
Timothy J. Zakutney is an accomplished director, manager, and consultant
for clinical and biomedical engineering. An extensive background
in information technology and its application in research and clinical
settings, Mr. Zakutney provides leadership and guidance surrounding
technology issues for Groupe Vega C.B.I. and their clients.
Mr. Zakutney has served as Director and Manager of Biomedical
Engineering teams at two major hospitals in Canada. As a system
development consultant, Mr. Zakutney has developed and implemented
software systems for several University and HealthCare research
programs.
A Professional Engineer with a specialty in Systems Design from
the University of Waterloo along with a Masters in Heath Science
in Clinical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Mr. Zakutney
has a broad range of experience in the application of engineering
and management principles and technology development in the medical
arena. Mr. Zakutney holds appointments as Treasurer, Canadian Medical
& Biological Engineering Society, and Member of the Scientific
Advisory Committee on Medical Devices used in the Cardiovascular
System for Health Canada. Mr. Zakutney has also provided consultation
to both Health Canada and the Office of the Auditor General of Canada.
Kim Greenwood, CET, CBET
Chief Asset Management Officer
Kim Greenwood is an accomplished director, manager, and consultant
for clinical and biomedical engineering. An extensive background
in medical technology management, Mr. Greenwood provides leadership
and guidance surrounding technology planning and management issues
for Groupe Vega C.B.I. and their clients.
Mr. Greenwood has served as Director and Manager of Biomedical
Engineering teams at several major hospitals in Canada.
Mr. Greenwood is a certified member of the Ontario Association
for Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists and the
International Certification Committee for Clinical Engineering and
Biomedical Technology.
